My experiences in Savannah get better! My muse and guide took me to Congress Street Social Club, where we enjoyed incredible drinks - Whiskey Wednesday anyone!? Our bartender Morgan was great, service was impeccable and she gave us great suggestions on what to try on Whiskey Wednesday. The selections for WW wasn't limited to 1 or 2 selections, but a wide swath including mid/top shelf American/Irish/Japanese whiskeys for only $5! The ambiance of the place is great, an outdoor area as you enter, followed by the internal bar with pool table inside, and another full lower bar downstairs with several pool tables! When you come, order a fantastic burger or hot dog from the guys in the front. The food is fresh and filling, perfect after a night of drinking! And the food was cheap - $6 for a burger and $5 for an incredible hot dog. Come for some fantastic special drinks and some great food! A shining jewel of Savannah!

Great ambiance, sports bar scene. The prices of drinks are way cheaper here than surrounding bars! We always start here if we are day drinking. Outdoor area that is dog friendly until 9pm. Giving it 4 star because it's cheap and an easy place to hang, but not a ton of options or service.
This was an impromptu stop on our pub crawl, and no alcohol was consumed here, yet important lessons were learned. 1. Everyone in Savannah is nice as hell, and the bouncer let us come in even when we said we just needed to pee. 2. The guy working the grill outside is an artist! Somehow managing to grill chicken skewers WITH the perfect amount of char on the edges but WITHOUT drying out the chicken. I'll admit there was alcohol involved but one of the best things I ate this trip...
We got to our Air-bnb pretty late and Congress Street SC was right next door so we decided to check it out. Cool little spot. They had a food window on the outside and on the inside, with great brat options. The lumberjack was the winner of the two, in flavor, and in the fact that it was made locally. Good selection of beers in cans. 4-5+ local IPA's (which if you read my reviews this is actually all I care and am looking for lol) Service was what you'd expect from somewhere like this, quick and effective. The bartender was knowledgeable with local breweries which was an awesome help. Found street parking right away too!
